The Tools We Have

We all miss parties, we miss getting together with friends, we miss gaming in the same room; and somehow playing traditional format games over Zoom and Hangouts and the next greatest video software just isn't the same. So instead of mourning what we can't have right now, I decided to build out a game that specifically leverages the video conferencing software so many of us are using during the pandemic. 

Flight of Darkness and Fancy uses a traditional LARP structure, providing role-play and story prompts all guided by a game master, but is designed specifically to take advantage of Zoom's breakout rooms feature. Player powers revolve around moving themselves and other people around the rooms of the game, angling to get into rooms alone, or with one single person, or crash a larger party and disrupt discussions. It's good, clean fun in a time of darkness and despair.
